Ringing in the New Year!

This year, we were invited to ring in the New Year with a fancy dinner party at a friend's house. It was sooooo much fun!! The hostess with the mostest stirred it up a bit by giving secret tasks to everyone. I was in charge of menu cards and name tags, Brian was in charge of the music selection, someone was in charge of drinks, another in charge of the menu, another in charge of favors (2011 calendars with pictures of all of us!!), another in charge of games (kazoo rock band anyone?) and the hostess pulled out the fine china and decor! The theme for the night was silver and gold with a Hollywood flair! 

Despite the fabulous couture fashion, the gourmet meal, the keepsake favors, the flowing cocktails and the awesome company, the hit of the night was definitely the mustaches!! Who knew felt on a stick could be so much fun? That's one party favor that I'm going to have to remember!!! I mean, seriously.....how cute are these??

 

 

Overall, it was a fantastic night and the perfect way to ring in the New Year!! Happy 2011!!!
