Been Busy

Yeah.....I've been a tad bit busy lately. But it's been a lot of fun!

Up first was my friend Willow's wedding. It was a beautiful, yet EXTREMELY busy day. I felt like I was running a mile a minute, but in the end the bride and groom said that they had a great time. I went home, slept for about 11 hours, went to breakfast, and then took a nap for about 4 hours. Very tired. Here's a couple of pics from the wedding....

Ok, so, the next weekend, we went to Lake Shasta to visit with Brian's family on their housboat. Here's Brian having fun in the boat!

Then, we went to Chico to visit friends for Labor Day. Man has it changed, yet some things stay the same.....Like Hula's is still the best Mongolian BBQ and Jon & Bon's is still the best place for frozen yogurt! YUM

The following weekend we went to see DMB, thanks to my work (it was our wedding gift). Of course the show was awesome! Behind our seats were the boxed seat section, which was vacant, so we stood on our chairs and got to see over everyone's head and saw the entire show. Awe...to think last year, when we saw Dave, it was the same day Brian proposed....

The trip to wine country was cancelled. Apparently the festival is very popular and there were no more hotel rooms. My aunt said that its not that good anyway and suggested that if we wanted to do some real wine tasting, we should rent a van and do a tour. So, pending upon a weekend we can all get together, we'll do that.

Finally, last weekend was my 10 yr high school reunion. Although I didn't think that I would have a good time, we ended up staying the entire night. (Yes, we....Brian was an amazing sport and let me drag him with me) I got to catch up with a lot of people - and actually met some that I didn't remember in the first place. We exchanged digits and hoped that it wouldn't be another 10 years before we saw each other again. Brian and I won a refill for a scrapbook and a gift card to Chili's for being the most newly-wed. The nextg closest was almost a year, so we won - hands down! What I'm going to do with a refill for a scrapbook that I don't have, we'll never know.

Now for a little life update.......

I've been thinking about a change, so I decided to cut my hair short again. What do you think? When I saw these self-portraits on the computer, I immediately started singing Right Said Fred's "I'm a model, you know what I mean, and I do a little turn on the catwalk.......I'm too sexy for this song!"

I've mentioned before, that I'm discouraged with my job. We'll I've been looking and have been to a couple of interviews. One of them resulted in a job, but I turned them down because I didn't think it would be a good fit. However, I had a phone interview today and they want me to come in next Wed for a second interview. Sounds very promising, so keep your fingers crossed!

Anyway, that's what's been going on with me....what about you?
