At what point do you say, "I'd rather quit than be bored to tears at work"? It's been over 2 months since I've done anything really productive at work and I find myself surfing the internet all day. Let me just say that there are only so many things you can do on the internet - trust me. I've actually resorted to bringing a book so I can read. For reasons that put Martha Stewart in prison, I can not disclose why I'm so incredibly bored at work. Let's just say that I'm currently looking for work that can actually build experience rather than take it away. I've had a couple of interviews, one with a very promising company, but I'm still waiting to hear back. I'll keep you posted. It's actually perfect timing since I've been feeling a little stale in my regular duties and have felt that it's time to move on anyway. Hopefully now I can find a job that will actually pay me what I'm worth and isn't in a different county from where I live. Hmmmm, that'd be nice. Although my commute could be worse - I mean who am I kidding, I live in the Bay Area - it could be a tad shorter.
In other news......Well, there really isn't any other news. Just plugging along in day-to-day activities. It seems like there hasn't been enough time in the day to do anything and now it's almost the holidays. I call it the "blink and swoosh" method. I swear, if I BLINK, then SWOOSH......another week and month have gone by. See how that works???
